David Miscavige Hosted Oak Cove Grand Opening

To carry out the expansion plans for Scientology in Clearwater, Mr. David Miscavige announced that the Oak Cove would be renovated and would serve parishioners coming to Clearwater from around the world, while the Fort Harrison renovations were done and the construction of the new Mecca was completed. Mr. Miscavige presided at its January 1, 2008 grand opening, attended by 3,500 Scientologists and friends from the community.
